    Remote Learning Zoom Sessions for Parents and carers

    Dear Parents and Carers

    To help you to support your children with their remote learning we would like to invite you to a Zoom session at 2pm on Wednesday 6th January or at 7pm on Thursday 7th January, which will go through how to see what work your child has been assigned, how to access the live lessons being offered, how to help them submit their work and what to do if it doesn't seem to be working. If you would like to submit any questions in advance please email schooloffice@stjohnplessington.com

    4-Jan-20 IMPORTANT INFORMATION

    Dear Parents and Carers

    We are looking forward to welcoming key worker and vulnerable children back into school tomorrow, Tuesday 5 January 2021. Pupils attending school should arrive by 08:30 via the main school gates onto the main yard where they will be met by staff, wear full school uniform, bring their own equipment and TWO MASKS. Masks must be worn in classrooms and in communal areas at ALL TIMES. Pupils can bring packed lunch or purchase food from the school canteen. Please note that you have been allocated a place for your child if you returned the Google form request. However, I understand that things are changing rapidly, therefore please do contact us if you require a place for your child.

    I hope that this email finds you well. We are currently getting hampers together for those pupils who receive free school meals. These will be available for collection from reception this afternoon (Monday 14th December) for year 8.     Unfortunately, over the last  few days we have had a small number of pupils who have tested positive.  Close contacts of these pupils have been identified and contacted by school following Department for Education and Public Health England guidelines.
