Dear Parents and Carers
We are looking forward to welcoming key worker and vulnerable children back into school tomorrow, Tuesday 5 January 2021. Pupils attending school should arrive by 08:30 via the main school gates onto the main yard where they will be met by staff, wear full school uniform, bring their own equipment and TWO MASKS. Masks must be worn in classrooms and in communal areas at ALL TIMES. Pupils can bring packed lunch or purchase food from the school canteen. Please note that you have been allocated a place for your child if you returned the Google form request. However, I understand that things are changing rapidly, therefore please do contact us if you require a place for your child.
Remote Teaching and Learning Summary
In school
Pupils will follow their timetable of online lessons, supervised and supported by staff.
Y11 and Y13
On Tuesday 5 January, work will be set for Year 11 and Year 13 on Google Classroom. From Wednesday 6 January, lessons will be live via Google Classroom / Google Meet.
Y7-Y10 and Y12
From Wednesday 6 January until Friday 8 January, work will be set on Google Classroom.
From Monday 11 January, lessons will be live via Google Classroom / Google Meet.
Academic Review
There will be an academic review each day from 08:40 until 09:00.
All pupils must attend academic review and live lessons. Failure to attend will be followed up by subject and pastoral staff.
More detailed information will be provided for each year group as the week progresses.
