SJP is an oversubscribed Catholic comprehensive Voluntary-Aided. The Governors are responsible for Admissions and they consider applications according to criteria agreed by the College and the Diocese of Shrewsbury. The Governors consider these applications in a priority order made available to Wirral Local Authority.
For 2020/2021 the Planned Admission number has been set at 270.
For 2021/2022 the Planned Admission number has been set at 270.

The Appeals Process will be outlined by the Chair of the independent Appeals Panel, Mr N Orme. Mr S J Rylance, Head Teacher, on behalf of the Governors, will make a presentation outlining why your child was unable to be given a place at St John Plessington.
Appeals to be returned to us by the deadline of Tuesday 31st March 2020.
Any additional information is to be submitted by Monday 20th April 2020.
Each appellant will be given at least 10 school days' notice of their individual appeal hearing date.
Appeal hearings will commence Monday 4th May 2020 and expected to last the week.
