14-Mar-22 - Message from the Headteacher

Dear Families

I am writing to update you on the steps that we are taking at SJP to improve punctuality, students arriving late to school and to lessons can be disruptive to the learning of others and can result in significantly lost learning. If a student arrives late to school, you will be informed and they will be expected to make the time up at the end of the day.

Likewise, if a student is late for a lesson, they will be expected to stay behind at the end of the school day to make the time up with their teacher. To keep parents informed, you will receive a text message to let you know that your child has been late and that they will be staying behind to make the time up.

Can I ask for your support in ensuring that our uniform and appearance expectations are adhered to. Our uniform policy clearly states that there should be no false nails, no false eyelashes, nose rings or earrings. I would ask you to not allow your children to get false eyelashes/nails/tan/piercings during the school terms.

Thank you for your support.

Kind regards

Ms M Sharratt
