Last week was British Science Week and it was celebrated in style at SJP. Pupils got the opportunity to learn about different scientists and their discoveries.
‘Inspirational Learning Group’ are visited SJP on Wednesday 14 March to work with Year 8. They will deliver a series of workshops based on developing employability skills – these include team building, communication, marketing and presentation skills.
A big thank you to Jon Tonge, Professor of British & Irish Politics University of Liverpool who visited SJP yesterday to talk to our Sixth Form students about the results of the 2017 general election and voting demographics. Thank you also to Head Boy Jonathan Nield for organising this event.
Katie Kelso, Chenai Lefebvre and Ellie Taperall were given the opportunity to go for trials with Chester ladies football team. After trials and training the girls have been selected to play and train for the under 14s team. This is an age group of their normal playing age.
