Buddy the Elf

On Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th December, the St John Plessington production of ‘Buddy the Elf’ premiered to capacity audiences.

The cast members of this show have been hard at work for weeks to prepare for this year’s pantomime, and they certainly lived up to the high standards set by previous shows. Year after year, the Performing Arts department produce shows of a professional quality which is thanks to the talent of the pupils involved. Nathan Hewitt brought lots of laughs and energy to the stage as ‘Buddy’ in what will be his last SJP Panto, along with Emily Thomas and Meagan Jones. However, the future looks bright as there were some stellar performances from students in much younger years. Whether a principal part or supporting cast member, every single one of the pupils involved in this production should be extremely proud of themselves, as once again they proved that SJP’s pantomimes really are the best on the Wirral! OH YES THEY ARE! Of course, a show of this quality needs more than excellent performers, so a massive congratulations goes out to all the members of staff involved in this "ELFTASTIC" performance! I cannot wait to see what they have in store for us next… OH NO I CAN'T!
