Yr 11 Leavers’ Celebration
The past year has been very challenging, however our Year 11 students have continued to amaze us with their resilience, motivation and determination. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our Year 11 students for being fabulous and for bringing so much character and joy to the SJP community. It’s been a real pleasure to watch students grow and flourish over the years. We hope that the SJP experience has prepared them for the next stage of their journey and that they will treasure the memories made.
We will look forward to welcoming back students to sixth form in September and we send our best wishes to those embarking upon pastures new.
The final GCSE of this Summer term takes place on Thursday 23rd June at 9:00am. Students will be dismissed from the school site directly after this exam ends. Students in other year groups will be completing trial exams and end of year assessments so with this in mind, Year 11 students will not be able to go into the main school site to visit teachers or friends from other years groups.
In order to mark the end of their Year 7-11 journey at SJP, we have planned a small celebration for all Year 11 students on Friday 24th June at 2pm at SJP. It would be lovely to see all year 11 students in attendance so we can celebrate their time at SJP and reflect on the positive contribution they have made to our community. As part of the afternoon, students will attend a liturgy and a celebration in the college hall before moving to the Peace Garden at 3:10pm for a BBQ with SJP staff. Our staff are very excited to celebrate this milestone with your child and share memorable times. Students are required to wear their school uniform. They will have the opportunity to ‘sign shirts’ so they may wish to bring old shirts to use.
In preparation for this celebration afternoon, please can I ask that you reply to the Googlelink HERE identifying if your child would like to attend their celebration on Friday 24th June at 2pm. Please also identify if your child has any dietary requirements. I.e vegetarian.
