London, UK – Friday 16 May 2025 – Ten outstanding youth design teams from across the United Kingdom have officially been selected to represent London at the Junk Kouture World Final 2025. These innovative creations, built entirely from recycled materials, showcase the creativity, imagination, and environmental awareness of the next generation of changemakers.

Chosen from dozens of submissions from schools across the UK, the winning designs were selected for their originality, storytelling, and commitment to sustainability. Judged by fashion designer Stephen McLaughlin and model/content creator Lise Pierron, the 10 teams now advance to the Junk Kouture World Final 2025 — a live global celebration of circular fashion — where they will compete alongside youth finalists from Milan, Paris, Dubai, New York, and Dublin.

From football boots and mattress fabric to willow branches and plastic bottles, each design redefines fashion with a powerful message and a mission for change.
