With this week marking British Science Week, it was very fitting that on Saturday 7th March, three of our Year 12 Chemistry students, Isabel, Caitlin, and Harry, had the opportunity to attend the annual Merseyside young analyst competition hosted by Liverpool University.
At the competition, the students had the opportunity to practice their analytical chemistry techniques and skills and were competing for a place in the national final. The group did extremely well, just missing out on a place but the day was enjoyable and they were able to get a taste of what studying science at University would be like.
