St John Plessington Catholic College

BBC Ambassador Talks

A BBC production team visited St John Plessington this month and staff from this prestigious, world-renowned organisation shared their career paths with our older year groups.

Natasha (Data Analyst) spoke about how she learned to deal with autism and why it's important to be proud of yourself. David (journalist coordinator/producer), a "Local Lad", emphasised the need to find something you "really love to do" and "follow your passion", especially as a career is often fifty years of your life.

Our students appreciated the 'real life' insights provided and the 'question and answer' sessions towards the end of the presentation, hosted by Robyn (broadcaster/TV host) gave them a chance to consider the possible ones ways they might wish for future.
