A-level Results Day St John Plessington Catholic College

St John Plessington students celebrate A’Level and BTEC results

Sixth form students from St John Plessington Catholic College, Bebington, collected their A-level and BTEC results alongside their friends and family this morning [Thursday 18 August].

After a challenging two years of learning during a global pandemic, the students were relieved to finally open their results and see the great payoff of their hard work and efforts.

St John Plessington students are now preparing to take their next step and go on to achieve further success at university, in an apprenticeship or the world of work.

Headteacher, Ms Maria Sharratt, said: “At St John Plessington Catholic College, part of our mission and ethos is to encourage students to reach their full potential, to ensure that they can have choice filled lives and are equipped to make positive contributions to their communities. I am pleased to say that our sixth form students have achieved that and more and we are proud of each and every one of them. We are pleased to say that more than 95% of our students have secured a destination of their choice.”

“The grades that our students have received are excellent, they pushed through the boundaries put in place due to the pandemic and performed exceptionally. I wish them good luck and success for what is to come, whether that be employment, apprenticeship or university degree.”
