A Level Exam Results 2020 - Thursday 13th August

Dear Parents/Carers

A Level Exam Results 2020

We hope you are managing to have an enjoyable summer break. As you’ll be aware, we are unable to conduct Results’ Day in the usual way this year. This is always a day that all of the staff at SJP look forward to, but ultimately, we have had to prioritise the safety and well-being of everyone in our community and thus issue your results remotely. Consequently, your results will be sent to you via both a letter in the post and the email address you provided; you should receive your results via e-mail by 10am. In advance of this, could I ask that you check you are able to access your e-mail account.

We trust and hope your results are as good as you had hoped for, that your hard work and determination have been duly rewarded, and that you are able to progress onto your future path, whatever that may be. However, in the absence of being able to come into school, I would urge you to consider where you open your letter/e-mail and who you are with. Whatever the results, it is worth ensuring you are in a safe place with someone you can trust and can best advise you as to your next steps. May I draw your attention to Mrs Lock’s letter in which she asked you to provide a mobile number that you can be contacted on and reminded you to contact school via the school office email address should you require any support whatsoever upon receipt of your results.

We are very much looking forward to celebrating your success in our usual way. We would love to be able to share in your achievements on this special day and therefore we are asking if you would be willing to celebrate your achievements with our SJP community by emailing us with the following:

marketing@stjohnplessington.com

  • A photo holding your results
  • First & surname
  • Subjects and grades
  • Name of University and course studying / Apprenticeship / Jobs

Alternatively, you can send us a video opening your exam results to be shared on social media.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Best wishes and good luck!

Ms Maria Sharratt
