Dear Families
Having reviewed our staffing availability for tomorrow, Tuesday 1 February 2022, we would continue to ask Year 8 and 9 to work remotely for an additional day. Teachers will be available throughout the lessons to answer questions and provide support. Thankfully, due to the shortened isolation period, we will have sufficient numbers of staff back in school for Year 8 and 9 to be able to return to school on Wednesday 2 February 2022.
Should we need to make any additional arrangements this week for remote learning it will not impact Year 8 or Year 9.
As I am sure you will understand, we do not take this decision lightly and hope that you can appreciate we have been working hard with staff throughout the day to review our provision and planned return to school. The safety of all our staff and pupils is our priority at all times.
Should you need to access school provision for key workers or vulnerable pupils who have not already been in attendance this week, please email year8@stjohnplessington.com or year9@stjohnplessington.com .
