St John Plessington Catholic College

12-Feb-21 Message from the Headteacher

Dear Families

I hope you are all keeping well.

Firstly, I would like to express my sincere thanks to you as parents and carers, to our pupils and to all our staff for your hard work and commitment, particularly over the past six weeks of online learning.

To you, as parents and carers, I say “thank you” for allowing us into your homes and please contact us if we can support in any way.  To our pupils, I urge you to keep up the hard work – it will be worth it and, to our staff, my gratitude to you all for everything that you do to improve and enhance the lives of the next generation.

Very soon, you will be receiving a letter which will give an average online lesson engagement score for your child, the letter will also include an explanation of the score.  This the period from January to February half term.

School will be closed to pupils over the half term.  If you have any safeguarding queries/concerns please contact safeguarding@stjohnplessington.com

Enjoy some time away from the screens!

Take care.

Maria Sharratt
