On Thursday and Friday of last week, over 40 of our Sixth Form pupils were fortunate to participate in a TEFL course, to enable them to Teach English as a Foreign Language abroad.
During the two day intense course, the pupils were challenged to come up with innovative ways to plan and deliver sessions to foreign students, who need to master the English language. The course providers were impressed with the positive work ethic, collaborative and communication skills of our pupils and praised them for their creativity and confidence. Many of our cohort are now keen to travel and utilise their newly acquired qualification to put their skills to the test.
