    Yr 8 & Yr 11 REVIEW DAY – Friday 20th November 2020 from 9.00am to 6.00pm

Online Appointment Booking and Video Link via School Cloud

The school has introduced a new intuitive and easy to use online appointment booking system using School Cloud. This allows you to choose your own appointment times with teachers and you will receive an email confirming your appointments. We are confident this will be an improvement to the previous system and welcome any feedback.

Please note, video link appointments are for a 5-minute period if you are logged into School Cloud, it will start automatically at the designated time, it will show a count down and automatically end the appointment.

If you are a Year 11 parent/carer, and saw a teacher on Thursday’s Parents’ Evening, you do not need to see that teacher again.

Appointments can be made from this afternoon, Friday 13th November at 4.00pm.

Please visit https://stjohnplessington.schoolcloud.co.uk to see how to log in and book your appointments. (A short guide on how to log in and add appointments is attached with this letter.)

As you know, these are a vital part of our on-going programme of assessing your child’s progress to date in all subject areas. I appreciate that the current situation of COVID has impacted students in many ways and with this in mind, it is very important that students continue to be prepared for all forms of assessment including formal examinations, particularly in light of the Government’s plans for summer examinations to still go ahead. Performance in these trial exams allows us to identify where further additional support strategies can be put in place to enable progress towards targets to be met, this is especially important during these uncertain times.

October Wirral Road Safety Team Bulletin for Secondary Schools
