The Small Hours Production
Read MoreOn Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th of March 2019, a mixture of students from years 9-13 performed The Small Hours by Katharine Soper. This is part of the nationwide National Connections Festival commissioned by the National Theatre in London. On Tuesday evening, they were privileged to welcome a representative from the National Theatre, Alex Thorpe, who was blown away by the talent of our students in the play. Directors, Ms Richards and Miss Donley, were extremely proud of what the students achieved in the process.

The Small Hours
Read MoreEarlier this year, the Performing Arts department was accepted onto the National Theatre Connections Festival. The programme provides schools, colleges and youth groups with the opportunity to rehearse and present a new play written by a professional writer and to perform at a home venue and at a regional theatre. We are currently in the process of rehearsing the play, The Small Hours by Katherine Soper and are very excited to be performing at SJP next week and subsequently at Home Theatre, Manchester in April.
