We are delighted to announce that in the new Department of Education Performance Tables, St John Plessington Catholic College is the HIGHEST PERFORMING SECONDARY SCHOOL ON THE WIRRAL for the new value added measure. This indicator does not take context into account and therefore is a true level playing field when comparing schools.Our VA of 1027.3 means that our pupils at SJP make the best progress of all pupils in the Wirral Local Authority from when they join us in Year 7.
This places SJP in the top 8% in the country. Well done to our pupils and staff in continuing to make SJP one of the best schools in the country.
